Troubleshooting
Find the problem you are experiencingRobot will not turn onView
Charge the robot on its dock. Use it only when its battery temperature is within 4–40 °C.
Robot will not chargeView
Check that the dock’s power indicator is on and both ends of its power cable are seated. Clean the robot and dock contact areas if contact is poor.
Charging is slowView
Charging slows at high or low temperatures to protect battery life. Wipe dirty charging contacts with a dry cloth.
Robot cannot find the charging dockView
Move the dock into an open area with fewer obstacles. Place the robot closer to it and retry.
Robot behaves abnormallyView
Restart the robot and retry.
Robot makes noise while cleaningView
Switch off and check the main brush, side brush, main wheels and omni-directional wheel for trapped debris. Clear them, and check the VibraRise system for jammed objects.
Robot will not connect to Wi-Fi4 steps
- Reset Wi-Fi and retry near a strong signal.
- Install the current Roborock or Mi Home app and choose the supported S7 model.
- If an abrupt failure follows router changes, check those settings and contact Roborock if needed.
- Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported.
Cleaning is weak or debris falls outView
Empty the dustbin, clean a blocked filter and clear a jammed main brush.
Scheduled cleaning does not startView
Keep the battery above 20% so a scheduled clean can begin.
Robot consumes power while dockedView
A small amount of power is drawn on the dock to maintain battery performance. Leaving it charged follows the manual’s normal use guidance.
First use needs a sixteen-hour chargeView
No sixteen-hour charge cycle is required for the first three uses. Use the robot once it is fully charged.
Mopping releases little or no waterView
Check water in the tank, set scrub intensity in the app, and confirm the mop cloth and mount are correctly fitted.
Cleaning does not resume after rechargingView
Check whether DND mode is preventing cleanup. A robot placed manually on the dock before returning for its own top-up charge will not resume that cleanup.
Robot cannot dock after Spot cleaning or being movedView
Spot cleaning or a large position change causes the map to be regenerated. If the dock is too far away, place the robot on it manually.
Robot misses areasView
Wipe the wall and cliff sensors with a soft dry cloth.
Water tank takes too long to fillView
Clean a blocked tank filter before filling again.
Fit and remove the VibraRise mop4 steps
- Fill the tank with water only and avoid hot water or cleaning fluids.
- Slide the tank in until it clicks, wet and wring the official VibraRise cloth, and slide its mount into place.
- Clean the cloth before mopping and after each use, and empty the tank regularly.
- After docking, press the side latches to remove the mount; keep fingers clear of the mechanism.
Spot cleaning, DND and child lock3 steps
- Press Spot Clean to clean a 1.5 m square.
- DND defaults to 22:00–08:00 and can be changed in the app; it stops cleanup, silences prompts and dims the indicator.
- Enable child lock in the app to lock buttons while stationary.
